I would like to admit that one month is not enough. I would be grateful if I can come to visit IWM again. ln the period 1.10.22-1.20231 have free time and could spend 3-4 months.

As mentioned in the “Terms of Award” agreement, we would kindly ask you to submit your final report on your activities, travels, talks and accomplishments during your research stay. Please be as specific and concise as possible!

In particular, we may ask you to list books or essays that have been written or worked on at the IWM, that have either been published or accepted for publication or that you wish to submit for publication. Describe briefly the nature of the work and give names of publishers or publications, dates and other relevant facts.

We would be very grateful if you could provide us with a copy of your publication(s) for our library or, if this is not possible, contact our librarian with the publication details. We would also like to ask you to list any prizes or awards you have received or will receive, as well as any scholarships and grants you have received or will receive.


  1. Seminar : Belarus: A Land that Rests on Three „Whales“ (15.11.2021)
  2. Symposium: „Belarus in Contemporary Europe“ (17.11.2021)
  3. Continuation of work on a monograph on Belarusian post-war emigration: literary and cultural aspect.
  4. Cooperation with Oksana Klymenko from Ukraine. Discussion of her research project.
    We agreed that we would jointly prepare a Belarusian-Ukrainian research project
    „Rise of a new man in Belarus and Ukraine in the 20th century“.
  5. Discussions and conversations with other guests lWM.

Unfortunately, it turned out that it took a long time to organize the symposium. I have not been able to complete everything that has been planned.
one month, however, is very little for serious research.
As far as possible, I would like to continue my research at lWM. For me, it is a very inspiring place. I would like to thoroughly research the theory and write a theoretical introduction to my new book on cultural protests in Belarus.
ln the period 1.10.2022-1.10.20231 will have time and will be happy to come back to IWM for 3-4 months.
